How to create a new track library ?

Track libraries are text files (.txt) saved in directory "Library" in the application directory (usually UR30).

To create a new track library, first duplicate an existing one with the file manager in the directory "Library", rename it and click twice on it to edit it.

Library files are structured as Windows initialization files (.ini). They contain Sections which contains entry keys.

In a library file, each section corresponds to a track, and each entry key of the section corresponds to a track attribute.

Example of track library file content :

[Default]

Unit=cm

Library=Scalextric 1/32 tracks

Name=

Width=15.5

BorderWidth=4

Radii=0

[Curve C151]

Name=C151 - Standard curve

Shape=curve

Radii=21.85

Angle=45.0

[Straight C160]

Name=C160 - Full straight

Shape=straight

Length=35

[Chicane C8032]

Name=C8032 - Skid Chicane / Standard Straight

Shape=chicane

Length=35

Lane1=36.5

Lane2=36.5

The Default section contains all track default parameters, and all library information such as library name. Following table describes each entry key available to define a track.

All other sections correspond to the library tracks. The name of the section will be reused as menu item when this library is loaded and becomes the active library.
